Three to go...

I've been slacking hardcore on carp updates... Like anyone really cares... Haha, so here we go...

My quest to catch at least one carp per month, January through December has been going quite well...

Commence Carp Overload...

 June:

Spring Creek Gold

Unripened...

Ripe for the pickin'

P.O.S. Stocker

Everything eats a damsel...

If your going to go as far as to wear a ghillie suit...you probably shouldn't wave a flashy mirror either.

It's really too bad we don't have more of these bad boys around... Hands down the hardest fish to persuade to eat a fly.
July:

Twins.

The Carpin Essentials...
Walmart fly box, beard comb, a two years supply of tippet, forceps, and a camera. Done.

Turbid water enforcer...

August:

Legit.

Baby face with a baby carp... #sadness

20.5 lbs...The scale and sling only comes out when I think its necessary...

FUMBLE!

Lovin' me some girth... #noshame

Thanks Orvis...

September:

Fancy Fins...

Fly of the Month(s): Carp Dragon... Tying tutorial coming soon. This one is something special...

Here's looking at you..October, November, & December...

Fantastic stuff, Adam. The carp dragon looks like the bomb.

Thanks Brent! That fly is bomb for sure...the material its tied with give it a totally different profile than my damsel pattern...different is good when dealing with conditioned fish.

Turtle on a damsel. I believe that's a first for me.

I was gonna say nice beard but it looks like you got rid of it. Nice fish instead!

Amongst all those awesome pictures the mirror is my favorite. Just a great pic that captures why they are called mirrors. And of course the worm pic rocks but i am biased.

-Haha, thanks Tim! Sadly the beard is gone.

--Trevor, that mirror was a beauty. I'd like to see that fish at twenty pounds. I haven't been on the internet much lately and just got around to reading your post from August about keeping your carp flies a big secret, haha..loved it. You'll never see that shit from me. Hahaha, you can have the right pattern and scare fish with it all day long...its all presentation.

---Will do Frank!
