What happened at the 4:10 mark? Was that a shark? And I want to know more about the rod holder too. What did you do, put the camera on a tripod and leave it running?
That was a shark. It was incredible to watch it hunt the bone. It would zig zag around, arriving to a place the bone used to be, obviously sensing the disturbed water, before following in it's wake. Eventually, it caught up with it and chowed the tail until I got close enough and it swam off. The fish you see in the video immediately after the shark is the same fish that was being gnawed on. It was totally fine.I will post on the rod holder in a bit, as soon as I get some time...I had a small grippy tripod that fit in my pocket when I wasn't hooked up and easily wrapped around a mango root when I was. It worked out pretty well. Camera is a Panasonic Lumix TS-2.Thanks for watching along, fellas. It is much appreciated.
Truly inspiring video! Thanks for sharing that. Makes my arm twitch I must say...
