The Early Bird Gets The Worm.

Summer has a way of warping your sleeping schedule. Usual bedtimes of 10,11, or midnight suddenly become 1,2, and 3 a.m. Your wake up times are pushed back as well to the point where it becomes increasingly harder to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to catch a fish. Alarm clocks become more annoying as well with your newfound lack of sleep. You either completely ignore them or in some dream infused lack of consciousness turn them off without even realizing it.

Outta That Tree!

Making An Appearance.

Admiration.

I fall in the latter category and often rely on my fishing partner as a safety valve. With this in mind, Adam woke me up rather early one day at a time when we were already supposed to be fishing together. I made the drive and hit the path just in time to see a bent rod and a monster golden ghost directing traffic up and down the trail. A loud and proud "Yea BABY," woke up anyone in the immediate vicinity, and I jogged down to document the action. The back and forth battle ended with one dashing risk/reward scoop followed by some proud admiration.

Jazzed.

One Last Look.

Goodbyes.

My Only Action of the Morning.
