The carping season is emerging around us as I type this. Over the past few days, we have tied into some of the first carp of 2011 as the air and water temperatures are slowly warming in the mid-atlantic region. The carp are starting to re-emerge in the shallows in search of a meal and we have been there to meet them. In honor of the approaching season here is a montage of sorts from last year. Hopefully 2011, will offer some more brutes, long backing runs, and maybe even a few broken rods.
